Fernand Collin Prize for Law
The Fernand Collin Prize for Law aims at stimulating junior researchers at Belgian institutions in the area of law. The award was established in honour of Fernand Collin (1897-1990), who was president of Kredietbank from 1938 to 1973. He was also a professor at the Catholic University of Leuven. He published an article in the Yale Law Journal on the idea of a European currency as early as 1962.
The Prize, worth 7,500 €, is awarded every two years to a researcher at a Belgian academic institution for a Dutch-language scholarly work on law.
