A follow-up to the cycle of lunch debates on "A World of Cities"

In the spring of 2015 the University Foundation and "la Fondation pour l’environnement urbain Pierre Laconte" organized a first cycle of lunch debates on the theme «A World of Cities» for the members of the Foundation and also for a broader public (faculties, economic, social and cultural organisations, ...).

This initiative and this collaboration  was continued in the autumn of 2015 with a new cycle of three lunch debates with a broader scope. The same in the spring of 2016.

In the automn of 2016 a  fourth series of three lunch debates is organized.

  • Monday October 3, 2016 at 12.15 pm "Land use, population density and life quality in urbanized Belgium : an agenda for action". 
  • Thursday November 24, 2016 at 12.15 pm "Cities as consumers of the environment - a global management exercise".
  • Friday December 2, 2016 at 12.15 pm. "The quality of the landscapes and the quality of the urban and rural environment".
